It was the perfect Winter day in Houston, the weather was crisp and the sun was shining. No one could have planned a better day. Through out the planning process Elizabeth and her mother, Maria, expressed multiple amount of times their love for flowers. When I was told the first time, I knew we were the perfect fit, but then through out our meetings I knew she meant business.

She was the perfect Southern belle mixing modern touches with more traditional elements. Acrylic chair and tables with topiary mini trees, yes please! Can we get this mix for every wedding? She wanted us to create a layout that was fresh and allowed the space to invite all guests to the dance floor. And then… cover it in flowers. We used the Zaza’s chandeliers to create a canopy of flowers for the dance floor that turned our so beautifully.

She loved the color pink, but wanted a sophisticated spin where we wouldn’t have bubble gum, but instead have color delicately placed through out the room. Julie from Keely Thorne truly pulled everything together and it made for one of the more magical events we have been a part of.

Can you even believe that this was the Houston Zaza Hotel. It’s amazing how we can transform these spaces and fill them up with the most gorgeous blooms.

mother's day deliveries 2020

It would be insane to not acknowledge that A) we haven’t written a blog since January, wow time flies. B) we are now offering daily deliveries.

Winter and Spring are one of our busiest season, so there is no surprise that we were drowning in work and blogging took the back burner. We had events every single weekend and we produced some gorgeous events that we can not wait to share. So please check back for more amazing weddings/events.

But for now, Covid 19 has changed our lives and we are pivoting to bring daily deliveries to our Houston clients. All of our events have moved to after June and we have made some time to deliver flowers directly to each of your homes. We are servicing the 610 inner loop area and our personal neighborhood Garden Oaks. This allows us to have the least amount of time on the road and the most time creating your gorgeous blooms. This couple has a special place in our heart. Working with the both of them and their wonderful mothers was seamless and so much fun and if we could do it all over again, we would. So much work when into building this beautiful day and we are excited to share some images with you.

We knew we would be off to a perfect start when Kylie walked into our first consultation with a color coded binder and hand full of magazine clippings. We absolutely adore a classic, timeless style. Her inspiration was full of her classic taste with a modern touch and almost two hours later we could envision the entire wedding.

We have always loved the timeless nature of blue and white chinoiserie and being able to incorporate those elements into this wedding was exciting for us.

What better way to highlight Houston Country Club’s natural beauty and the tradition elements the interior design offers. Kylie never envisioned changing HCC into something it wasn’t therefore incorporating chinoiserie jars into the reception was essential. She wanted their guest to feel as comfortable and warm as they would in their own home. We were were so honored to play a small roll in helping these two wonderful families come together and bringing Kylie and Buddy’s vision come to life.

Nathalie and Justin. From the moment we met this couple we knew their wedding would be something special. Their wedding flower process all began in our studio with their planner Sava Sipe of Two Be Wed. Their initial consultation was full of color and romance and we fell in love.

Nathalie and Justin’s had a vision and it was right around the time we were dreaming of the perfect colorful client to cross our paths and here they were - sitting across from us and allowing us the freedom to create something base upon their love for 19th century still life art. We were honored to have their trust in us to create the flower experience of there wedding dreams.

They wanted an abundance of color and fruit rich in textures and our team was excited to say the least. It was elegant and understand just as the Master’s of those 19th century art pieces intended it to be.

Nathalie and Justin both had a very specific desire for their guest experience at their wedding. Neither wanted the decor to be flashy and over the top but elevated and romantic with abundant candle lighting. They both wanted their guest to feel as if they were on a romantic date where they could converse over great food and people and we feel as if the entire design team conquered just that.

This past summer we were asked by Belle Ame Bridal, a new wedding dress boutique in Houston, Texas to help decorate their Open House. The owners hosted a wedding expert panel for newly engaged couples giving them an opportunity to ask all those questions that we have while going through a new experience.

The ingenious idea was such a great way to reconnect with our market and see what can still confuse engaged couples. The masterminds behind this concept were the ladies at Unveiled Bliss. They planned and executed this event perfectly!

We created this arch for the space to help welcome guests in and be a place where everyone could take pics. As sort of interactive installation. We used colors that would make their brand colors pop and bright light into the space.

We created a custom arch to fit perfectly into the door and love how it turned out.
