We are getting ready for our next couple floral design workshops and couldn't be more excited at all the incoming requests and interest. Thank you!!  We had a blast at your last one and are thrilled to continue offering these classes to our fellow flower lovers.

Please email us with any suggestions or requests as we would love to cater any classes to our guests desires.  Special thanks to Sugar and Cloth for hosting our first floral design class and to Relish Wilmot Photography for the amazing shots, seen bellow.

so much good

There are so many good things happening over here at Maxit.  But first let's get to the most important... we are finally pulling the trigger in planning our next series of floral workshops! We have received so many requests and feel so honored that this is happening.  Eek!! Thank you guys. :-)

So please stay tuned and to all our social media outlets and we will keep you updated.  Some spoilers... we are looking to do a Friendtines (Friend-Valentines), Mothers day and Summer workshops.

But first, this past weekend we were honored to help take part in a good friend's workshop.  Kristara is the founder and creator at Kristara, A Houston Calligraphy Studio.  She holds calligraphy classes pretty regularly, for more details please go take a look at her amazing site HERE. Bellow are some images of that day with our florals.

a quote

"An artist is someone who creates something so beautiful you have to stop a moment to take it in. They create from their heart, from their soul. They don't do it for fame or for money, they do it because they have to, because they have a need to create." Lucia Gill

inspired by the week of thanks

Having Thanksgiving right around the corner makes me embrace the seasonal colors fall offers us.  The deep tones and endless textures are something no other time of year creates.  Its masculine, dark, and inspires moody arrangements that are only seen during this time.  Here are some images of an arrangement I made from some leftovers we had from a workshop a little while ago.

Are you interested in our workshops?  Please shoot us an email as we continue to work on future plans and would love to hear what you would like to see and learn.

In the meanwhile get inspired by these amazing textures and colors:
