now that it's been posted

We are so excited to finally be able to share these pics!!

When all of the creative talent gets together and create photo shoots it's like a movie set.  There's lots of hard work that goes into it all throughout some months prior and then some months after.  Once the shoot takes place and the creative madness wraps up, the shoot gets published roughly three months later.  What happens between those three months? Waiting, lot's of waiting, and occasional review of the photos with a hint of self criticism to note what could have done better for next time.

One of the more amazing parts of the shoots, you get to review your own work, learn from the mistakes and improve on all aspects to make the next one that much better.  This shoot was not one of those.  Jennifer from Jennifer Laura Designs did a great job putting all the details together and creating a beautiful shoot.  Take a look...

a little vino

I know when Jennifer, from Jennifer Laura Designs, calls, I should answer.  She has one the most creative styles I have seen in Houston.  It's remarkably simple but perfectly beautiful.  She pays attention to detail and creates shoots that are different, fun and easy.  Today one of those shoots got published on 100 Layer Cake.  Go take a look!

when we gather

Yesterday was such a sweet day for me,  I was honored as a floral designer to share my craft with others that have the same passion.  Gathering with 3 other creative, talented ladies was such a delight.  Seeing them create and hearing them speak passionately about their trade was just what I needed as a creative.  So who were these awesome ladies...  Maggie from Bamble and Bee; Jody from The Moss and Rose and Tamara from Tamara Menges Designs

Also, another super talented lady played a curtail part, the lovely and very talented Korie of Korie Lynn Photography hosted AND shot the date.  Guys, she is so talented and has such a sweet soul.  Here's a little pic, but there are mush more to come.  Stay tuned for more fun pics and further updates on floral workshops!
