veronica beard
We got a chance to work with Veronica Beard last week and was one of the highlights of the year. To see two women create a brand that supports and highlights other women is exactly who we want to work with. They are a modern women’s clothing brand that has a little bit of something for everyone.
We love their passion for color and texture and we tried to create florals that would marry those concepts. They asked us to create a floral installation for their entry of their new space and we thought it would be the perfect touch to their new entry way. We got together with our manufacturer and created a structure that would hold this 12’ x 12’ structure. We filled it with a dozen different varieties of faux flowers and greens to create this over flowing tree like structure.
If only it could smell as good as it looked! It took us 4 hrs of set up to make this bad boy come to life. With temperatures in the 90’s we got a good work out and sweat it out. It made it that much more relevant that we used faux flowers to make sure that they would last long enough to be enjoyed. Faux flowers are not our specialty but we enjoy working with them. They have their time and place and completely understand the value of them too. (Side note, they are NOT more affordable than real flowers. Quite the contrary. They are 2-4 times as expensive as the real ones)
We snagged these gorgeous images from our friends over at Harlow & May that were featured in the Houston Chronicle. Follow this link to read a little bit more about that article HERE.
